Front bumper trims
Checking fixtures for bumper trims composed of a single injected part – with or without emblem – or of several injected parts. This type of part is highly deformable; consequently, the checking fixture controlling them must conform the part by reproducing its vehicle environment. Considering the high flexibility of bumper trims, they are usually controlled by a combination of Go/No Go controls (blocks simulating the part vehicle environment with a gap controlled by Go/No Go gauges) and of dial indicator control points.
Our checking fixtures are produced in aluminium, the components submitted to wear-and-tear are produced in steel. Tolerances for RPS (fixation points) and dial indicator points: ±0.05mm. Tolerances for simulation blocks: ±0.1mm. |
